Once a driver has accepted your shipment request and enabled tracking, you will be able to track the current location of the shipment through the DAT OnTime website.
Simply click on the shipment you wish to locate and you can view the status, any messages and the details of the shipment
The Status section will give you information about the shipment status. You can see whether the shipment has been picked up or dropped off and if it is currently dispatched.
Click HERE to view the various statuses that may appear for your tracking request.
The Messages section tracks all messages sent between you and the driver.
You can send a new message by typing in the space provided and clicking the arrow at the end.
The Details section shows you the details of your shipment, including the driver name and number, the dispatcher information and the shipment note.
Click the pencil icon to edit a shipment note.
Note: Current shipment locations will appear on the map. The website is set to automatically refresh every 5 minutes, although you can refresh your browser sooner if needed.
